Broom with a View has it's own private entrance, secure parking and outdoor seating and eating area under a large veranda. It features a luxurious bedroom with king size bed, a separate living/dining space with a mini kitchen with hob, microwave, fridge, table top freezer and dishwasher. Please note, there is no oven. Guests also have their own spacious bathroom with bath and walk in shower.
Broom has all the modern technology and appliances you’ll need including dedicated wifi and Smart TV. For more old-fashioned pursuits, there are a selection of books you're welcome to borrow while you're staying here, as well as backgammon and board games.
The kitchen is fully equipped with plates, glasses, mugs, cutlery, kitchen utensils and a corkscrew of course!
You'll be welcomed with a starter package of fair trade teas, coffees and biscuits as well as milk, cereal, bread, butter and jam. For stays of three nights or longer, we'll reward you with a bottle of prosecco or wine (or some bottles of beer or cider) depending on your preference. We'll even make sure you've got ice cubes in the freezer!
If dark skies and star-spotting are your thing, you'll really enjoy staying here as at night, there is barely another light to be seen. You can borrow our telescope if you like - you'll probably know more about how it works than us!
We'll make sure the bird feeders are full so keep your eyes open for the huge variety of birds that fly around here including greater spotted woodpeckers, collared doves, nuthatches, chaffinches, our shy green woodpecker and resident buzzards as well as the annual visits from swallows and swifts.
You have access to your own terrace sheltered by a veranda and equipped with seating/dining area. You are welcome to walk around the garden and the adjoining paddock and field (as long as there is no livestock in residence at the time).
If you enjoy country walks, there are lots of public footpaths and bridleways a short stroll away and more within a short drive by car.
Just up the road, within walking distance, is an award winning pub, The Tytherleigh Arms, and a farm shop as well as a great Vintage antique store.

"Beautiful views over the valley on a sunny day. On a cloudy day still lovely just can’t see as far. Easy location for River Cottage in Axminster 15 minutes away, Lyme Regis 20 minutes which had lovely seaside shops and a museum. Seaton is another lovely town close by. Great amenities and comfortable cosy place to stay. The Tytherleigh pub has amazing food, you can walk there in 10 minutes and torches and high vis jackets are available for night time adventures. Lovely walks information available on local places of interest."
